Radiastar successfully supplied 20 units of 2500 kVA, 33/0.4 kV corrugated transformer tanks to a transformer manufacturer in Turkey. The tanks are designed for oil-immersed distribution transformers operating on 33 kV medium-voltage networks.

The transformer tanks were manufactured according to the customer’s technical specifications, dimensional requirements and approved drawings. Particular attention was given to tank dimensions, corrugated wall structure, welding quality, oil tightness and corrosion protection to ensure reliable integration with the transformer core, windings, bushings and other accessories.

Project Overview

The Turkish customer required a batch of customized corrugated transformer tanks for 2500 kVA oil-immersed distribution transformers.

Because the tanks needed to match the customer’s existing transformer design, Radiastar manufactured the products according to customer-provided drawings and technical specifications rather than using a standard tank design.
